At a recent event for approximately 2000 people at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles, when it came to closing down the bars (sometimes a real challenge) I saw something I'd never seen before. The fronts of each bar were lined up with ice-cold bottles of water! This permitted the servers to pack up the liquor, while patrons who missed last call were provided a take-away (helpful to begin the sobering-up process as well). Brilliant!
